Incomplete link breaks PDF export and causes inkdrop to exit

Bug report

A link with an empty URL causes two problems: PDF export contains no content from the point of the bad link. Clicking the bad link in the preview causes inkdrop to immediately exit.

Environment

  • Platform: Debian
  • Platform version: Bookworm / testing
  • App Version: 5.5.2

How to reproduce

  1. Create a new note
  2. Give the note a heading so it has some content
  3. Create a link with some text, but no URL
  4. Add some more content to the note below the link
  5. Try to export the note as a PDF
  6. View the PDF and observe that the content stops at the location of the bad URL
  7. Open the note preview
  8. Click on the bad link
  9. Observe that inkdrop immediately exits

Hi James,

Thanks for the report.
Confirmed that clicking a link with no URL leads the app to crash. Will fix it.
But I couldn’t reproduce 6 - View the PDF and observe that the content stops at the location of the bad URL.
Can you please give me a Markdown that causes 6?

Thanks for looking into these.
I’ve tried several times, but I cannot reproduce the pdf bug now. I will keep looking out for it and will let you know if I encounter it again. I’ll be sure to keep a copy of the Markdown if it happens again
