1. Search bar in settings to search for different settings

No. Because there are not as many preferences as search bar is necessary

2. A feature where you can view the preview as you type it

No. Inkdrop will never support WYSIWYG. It’s a core concept. Check out the duplicate topics:

Ability to type in preview window

I recently tried out Typora, another markdown editor. While it lacks a lot of features that I love in Inkdrop, one feature that I liked was being able to type in the preview window. It still required the user to enter markdown, but didn’t require a separate syntax pane for markdown entry. I think that this option would be useful for things like taking notes in meetings and such, where there isn’t a need to see the code structure.

A few feature requests

Great desktop client. It’s clean, responsive and makes note taking quick and productive. But here are some recommendations/suggesstions On the desktop app: When right clicking on a highlighted text, add the option to replace it hyperlink from the clipboard. And/or when pasting a link, automatically recognize it as a hyperlink, place the link within the brackets () and place the cursor in the square brackets to immediately start typing the name of the hyperlink. 3. Maybe add a / context menu that will show you Markdown elements you can use (ex. /heading is a h1 tag, /heading2 is a h2 tag)

I guess the idea is from Notion, which supports various types of content.
On the other hand, Markdown itself is just a simple plain-text format.
To insert a heading, you just need to type ‘#’ instead of ‘/’, which is clear and easy.
