Windows 10 blocks downloading installer, because it detectes trojan in setup.exe

Today, I tried to install inkdrop on my new windows PC.
( I usually use it on my macos. :slight_smile: )
I encounterd the error below.

The downloaded setup.exe includes “spursint.F!cl” and windows security judges it trojan.

So, I can’t finish to download your installer… :frowning:

Does anybody have sush a problem?

Reproduce

  1. login to inkdrop on website.
  2. On a download page, selecet windows os, installer version.
  3. When it has downloaded, windows security isolate the setup.exe, so I cannot touch the file.

I reported it to Microsoft and it has been accepted.
Please follow the steps below to clear cached detection and obtain the latest malware definitions.

  1. Open command prompt as administrator and change directory to c:\Program Files\Windows Defender
  2. Run MpCmdRun.exe -removedefinitions -dynamicsignatures
