Scroll status persisting across different notes

I am not sure if this is intended behavior or not, so I’m posting it here.

Bug report

Scrolling through note A seems to persist the same note position when changing to note B.

Environment

  • Platform: Windows 11
  • Platform version: 0.0.26200 Build 26200
  • App Version: Desktop 6.1.3.0

How to reproduce

  1. To reset conditions and clearly see behavior, ensure two notes (A and B) are both scrolled to the top.
  2. Scroll to the bottom of note A.
  3. Switch to note B.
  4. Note B will also have scrolled to the bottom.

I will just reiterate that I’m not sure if this is intended, or if perhaps I’m misunderstanding the benefit of this behavior, but particularly on notes with a great deal of content (note A) going into note B (which is now scrolled all the way down) I can’t see the actually content of note B because of this behavior.

Great software, it’s really nice.

Thanks for the report.
Yeah, that sounds strange.
I fixed a possible related bug last week. It disables the scroll sync in a certain condition.
The issue seems to not happen on my dev build, but I’ll look into it further just in case.

Hello, sorry for my late reply. I updated to the newest version and it seems the behavior has stopped! I’m sorry I couldn’t be more helpful, and it is weird that you weren’t seeing it either.
