Allow me to sync any notebook and dverything inside it with a git repo.
Allow me to open a git repo and edit all the markdown documents in various folders with inkdrop.

Git or filesystem-based sync would be nice but I’m afraid that it is not planned to be supported.
Because Inkdrop is basically focusing on providing a seamless sync across devices including mobile.
But mobile platforms don’t work so well with filesystem.
Besides, you have to scan all the files for what’s been changed on every app launch because you can change them while the app is not running, and that would affect the performance significantly.
That’s why Inkdrop provides its own database for the sync.
