The search notebook/tag functionality in Telescope appears to be non-functional in detached windows due to the absence of folder and file data. While Telescope is still useful in detached windows, would it be possible to restrict the search notebook/tag feature to operate only within the parent app?

Thatβs a good catch. Detached windows are actually normal app windows except the sidebar and note list are hidden by default (Distraction free mode). You can display them by pressing Cmd-Shift-D in these windows. In this state, Telescope works as normal.
Maybe you are right, when the sidebar is hidden, these notebook/tag search modes in Telescope should be disabled. Let me think about it. Thanks for the feedback!
