Unable to move notebooks from the sidebar menu

Bug report

I noticed today (May 9th, 2025) that I can no longer move notebooks while in the sidebar menu. The “Move notebook” option is grayed out when right clicking on any notebook:

Is there a setting I am missing that would enable this? I haven’t recently had to move notebooks around so I’m not quite sure when it was last available.

I tried restarting both the app and my machine and the issue persists

Environment

Platform: macOS
Platform version: Sequoia 15.4.1
App Version: 5.11.3

How to reproduce

Open app
Right click on any notebook in the sidebar

Thanks for reporting.
I confirmed this is a race-condition bug due to the recent launch speed improvement.
It will be fixed in the next release soon!

Hi @craftzdog,

Sorry for the delay in my response! Just tested the patch that you shared with me.

I can confirm that the “Move Notebook” option is now available when I right-click a notebook, and that the notebook does get moved to the desired location when I select a parent notebook in the dialog window that opens up.
