Unable to import folder of Markdown files

Bug report

I am unable to import a folder of Markdown files.

Environment

  • Platform: Windows
  • Platform version: 11
  • App Version: 5.8.1

How to reproduce

Using a folder of Markdown files (previously used in Obsidian), head to ‘File → Import → from Markdown files …’, select ‘(Root)’, select folder containing notes (it also contains subfolders with markdown files). Observe that the folder structure is correctly imported, but no notes are imported.

Hi, Ryan.

It’s been a while and thanks for reporting. That’s weird.
Do you get any errors in the Developer Tools?
I guess they are ordinal plain Markdown files, right?
I tried to check if there were any regressions, but couldn’t find them.
Would it be possible to share one of your notes?
