Task completion does not update in note list

I am thinking of switching from Acreom and Obsidian Setup to one core setup of just using Inkdrop. Within my evaluation I am quite impressed. But I found a bug. When marking a task as completed within a note it is updated in the preview at the top but not in the note list view besides the note.

Environment

  • Platform: macOS
  • Platform version: Sequoia 15.5
  • App Version: 5.11.5

How to reproduce

  • Add two tasks to the note and have note overview opened on the left
  • Tick and untick the task within the preview mode
  • The preview mode updates the completion condition of the tasks but not the condition in the note list view

Thanks for the report.

The note list gets updated only when the note is saved at the moment.
Toggling task items does not save the note immediately.
If you’d like to update the note list immediately, try pressing Cmd/Ctrl-S to manually save the note.
