Sync issues with Android and Mac

Pressing “Synchronize Notes” does not synchronize in either direction between mobile and desktop. The UI says “Synced at (current time)” so I would expect that the syncing was successful.

Creating new notes and synchronizing results in the note not showing up in the other device. Editing existing notes results in no changes showing on the other device.

The receiving device is missing the revisions in its revision list that were sent from the other device.

Looks like you are using an old version, which has an issue as discussed here:

It happens from Oct 1st, the sync no longer works. To solve the issue, please use the latest version v5.4.3 here:

Is it possible to auto update the desktop app?

I guess the auto update in the versions older than v5.4.3 no longer works as they can’t communicate with the server. It should work fine in v5.4.3.
