Save note shortcut to desktop

Hi wondering if there is a plugin or other way of saving a shortcup to a note on the desktop, or on the taskbar/dock (on macos)

I can’t really speak for macos, but at least for Windows and Linux, Inkdrop registers a custom URI scheme. So you can open any Inkdrop note with its note URI the same way you would open an HTTPS URL.

So you should be able to create a shortcut the same way you would for a webpage.

e.g.
Windows: start inkdrop://note/h4PoZkuP
Linux: xdg-open inkdrop://note/h4PoZkuP

2. From a shortcut:

   • See Create a custom shortcut on Mac - Apple Support (MZ)
   1. Insert an action “Open URL”
      
      
   2. Set URI to the note

actually, now that we have Inkdrop integration in Claude Desktop actually I don’t need a desktop link, I just ask claude desktop for the info!
