I would really like to have predefined template that can be used to quickly generate blog pages other common markdown forms. The goal would be to streamline my static website (jekyll, hugo, pelican) markdown.

Yeah, it’d be useful. Since Inkdrop is not designed for snippets, it’d be nice as a plugin.
Also please check out cool apps such as SnippetsLab which allows you to have templates for blog pages with quick access if you are on macOS.
