Moving Inkdrop window with display scale other than 100% caused it to resized

Bug report

When moving the Inkdrop window around with display scale other than 100%, the window started acting weirdly like glitchy text or the window size automatically become smaller. It would only happened with Acrylic features turned on.

This seems to also be related to https://forum.inkdrop.app/t/window-gets-unintentionally-resized-by-dragging-on-windows-11/ but it only happened if the display scale is not 100%

Environment

  • Platform: Windows
  • Platform version: 10
  • App Version: 5.5.0

How to reproduce

  1. Turn on Acrylic Translucent Background
  2. Change the Display Scale to anything other than 100%
  3. resize the program to be bigger than what it currently is
  4. move the window around and the size will be reset.

Hi Chanakan,

Thanks for the report.
Yeah, the acrylic support is not perfect because it is not an official feature of Electron.
The app already uses the latest version of the library.
As the feature is completely optional and experimental, I’m not active in fixing those issues but relying on the community effort.
If the issue gets fixed, I’d be happy to update it.

Oh cool, Thanks for the answer!
