is there a local folder where the files im working on are saved in any way?
I cant seem to find it, if theres one.

Inkdrop stores notes in a local database in the user data directory.
It’s not plain Markdown files, so you can’t edit them directly.
yeah thats what i thought, so the only option to save them locally is to export them as .md files every now and then. Btw I love Inkdrop, great product!

If you’d like to use an external editor to edit notes, try using @andi 's open-in-external-editor plugin.
