Formats that do not work in footnotes plugin

Bug report

I tried to use the footnotes plugin.
However, it doesn’t seem to render as per the official example.
https://my.inkdrop.app/plugins/footnotes

I disabled all but the official plugins, but the result was the same.
The custom styles.less didn’t do anything wrong either.

That’s not what I expected, although [^or something?] to [^orsomething?] (no spaces) does make it a link.

Info

  • Platform: (Windows)
  • Platform version: (10)
  • App Version: (5.4.1)

Reproduce

Write a official example in notebook.

Something something[^or something?].

And something else[^2].

[^2]: This reference footnote contains a paragraph...

  - ...and a list

Hi Avis,

Thank you for reporting it.
Ahh, the example is wrong. It should be:

Something something^[or something?].

Sorry for the late response.
Thanks, I could understand the format.

By the way, ... .and a list needs 4 spaces.
Otherwise, it would have been rendered into the body text.

You are right. Updated the doc:

Thanks!
