It seems like expanded note links only show status and tags if the link text is blank or it matches the note name.

Also, updating the referenced note title, will break the Link provided by Copy note Link. So maybe update that to be blank by default? :thinking:

Not getting anything on the console.

Environment

  • Platform: macOS
  • Platform version: Ventura 13.6.3
  • App Version: 5.7.0

How to reproduce

  1. Add a link to an existing note
  2. Change the link text
  3. Go to Preview mode
  4. Link does not show status or tags :frowning:

Hi picklecillo,

Yes, that is intended in order to allow you to have a different label for the internal links so you can mention another note something like:

It is an issue I am working on [here](inkdrop://note/**).

without distracting the sentence.

Good point.
I was planning to support updating link titles in other notes when updating the note titles to keep them able to be expanded.
