[conflicted] notes on macOS

I’ve read here in some old topics that conflict ocours when you try to view/edit notes in same time on multiple devices.
However, yesterday and today my notes start to duplicate with [conflicted] message on title.
I’m just writing in macOS app. I not trying viewing or editing the same note on other device.

Environment

  • Platform: macOS

  • Platform version: Ventura 13.4

  • App Version: 5.5.3

How to reproduce

Thanks for the report. That’s strange.
I haven’t been experiencing such conflicts at the moment.
I suspect that it could be caused by a third-party plugin that tries to update your notes while editing.
Which plugins are you using, and can you try disabling suspect ones?

here is a video of how I reproduce it with version 5.8.1:

  • new note
  • move to “Active”
  • do something else (like create another new note)

Installed plugins (nothing odd I would think):

Hi Marco,

Thanks for the report. I guess it happens when setting a note status because it doesn’t save the current buffer before performing it. I’ll fix it!
