Cannot overwrite with paste

When I do a Ctrl + V paste with a line selected, it inserts the line into the next line, rather than overwriting it. Same for non-link strings.

There is no error in the console of the development tools.

I have disabled the following plugins, but the result is the same.

  • paste-as-plain-text
  • paste-url

Reproduce

  • Select a line containing a line break
  • Ctrl + V to paste

That’s strange. I tried to reproduce it but couldn’t.
If I found how to reproduce it, I’ll fix it soon.

I’m sorry.
It might be a problem with my environment.
I rebooted the OS and it stopped happening.

I’ll wait and see.

It has occurred again.
Could it be that pasting an image via the clipboard is the problem?

Pasting the string “xxxxxxxxxx” overwrites it as expected, but pasting an image copied to the clipboard does not.

Makes sense!
Currently, it always inserts images into the current cursor position but doesn’t replace the current selection when pasting from clipboard.
I’ll fix it in the next release.
