How to reproduce
There are different fonts in the editor for Latin and Cyrillic.

What’s your locale e.g., en_US?
I think it doesn’t depend on the locale. The point is precisely in the font and in the application settings I can’t change it.
It looks like correctly using the monospace font, no?
Which font should it use?
In the current stable version, the default Menlo font looks correct. And in the beta version, Cyrillic is displayed in Menlo, and Latin is displayed in a different font.
