[Beta v5 Andorid] App crashes 1 min after open a note

Bug report

App crashes while editing a note.

Environment

  • Platform: Android (Pixel 5a)
  • Platform version: 13 ← updated from the last issue
  • App Version: v5.0.0 (14)

How to reproduce

  1. Open the app
  2. Create a new note and write something
  3. Wait 1 minute
  4. After 1 minute
    • What I can do
      • Editing text
    • What I can’t do
      • Back to the note list (so I can’t save my notes)
      • Change to preview mode
      • Use the markdown toolbar
      • …and so on. Buttons are not responding
  5. Do the below for the next step
    • Write something
    • Tap “#” in the markdown toolbar
    • Tap the back button
  6. After about 10 minutes
    • What I did at step 5 is performed (still any button isn’t responding)

Also, it often happens on existing notes, but sometimes it doesn’t reproduce by the below steps…

Thanks for the report.
That sounds weird.
So, you got the issue after updating Android to 13?
My Pixel 5 is also on Android 13 but no issue at the moment.
I suspect that the app gets stuck while doing something like updating the note index.
Maybe it is due to the breaking changes in builds around 13-14.
Could you try reinstalling it?

Yeah, I didn’t face this issue last time.

I reinstalled so let me wait and see.
I’ll let you know how it goes in a few days.
