Some of my notes seem to throw the Helper into 100% utilization for a long time.
How do I debug the helper’s actions to determine what about my note is causing this problem?

Hi Evan,
Thank you for reporting.
That’s weird. If you report a bug, please follow the template (you deleted them).
Inkdrop Helper is a Chrominium process.
It’s not very long, but it is not short.
restarting the app causes the CPU to return to normal, but opening the note again can cause it to repeat.
have not tried, since app restart solves the immediate CPU utilization.
this I have not tried, I will open it it and attempt again, thanks!
OSX, Catalina. .
Thank you for the information.
So, opening a particular note always causes the high cpu usage?
If so, would it be possible to send me the note via DM or email?
I’ll try to reproduce the issue with it.
You can profile the cpu usage in the developer tools.
If it happens randomly, I suspect that’s an environment issue.
Please try restarting your mac.
I have not run into this again recently.
Good to hear that. The next version will have the latest Electron, which would be expected as more stable.
