Unable to open 5.5.1 on Mac OS (Intel)

After downloading version 5.5.1 on Mac OS, opening it yields this error:

“Inkdrop.app” is damaged and can’t be opened. You should move it to the Trash.

Environment

  • Platform: Mac OS
  • Platform version: 10.15.x
  • App Version: 5.5.1

How to reproduce

  1. Download app from my.inkdrop.app.
  2. Attempt to open the app.
  3. Observe error.

Thanks for the report.
Weird, you downloaded the Intel build, right?
I downloaded it myself and it launched fine.
I haven’t changed the zip file since its release.
Can you try it from another browser?

Can you check Security & Privacy setting and App Store and identified developers is checked?
