File open dialog not showing when importing note from HTML

I’m trying to import my notes from Evernote.
I download them in HTML and then try to import them in Inkdrop:
Select ‘Inkdrop -> Import -> from HTML files…’ from menu.

But after selecting the target notebook and clicking Ok nothing happens.
The note is not imported and I don’t get any error message.

Reproduce

  1. Export note from Evernote in HTML.
  2. Select ‘Inkdrop -> Import -> from HTML files…’
  3. Select target notebook
  4. Click Ok
    –> Nothing happens

Hi David,

Thank you for the report.
I tried to reproduce it but couldn’t. It works as expected on my mac (10.13.5). That’s weird.
After clicking OK button, the app will show a file open dialog but it fails for some reason.
At the moment, I’m afraid that I don’t understand why it doesn’t work because you don’t get any error message.

I’d like to know if this problem occurs on other users’ machines.
